HarrisQuest MCP brings brand data into your AI

Ask Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini how your brand is doing, and get an answer you can defend.

HarrisQuest MCP is a connector that puts a client’s full HarrisQuest brand and reputation data inside Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini. Launched on October 15, 2026, it lets teams ask an AI assistant how their brand is performing and get survey-backed answers with the sample size, definition and method attached.

Picture a brand manager with a leadership briefing at ten. The question on the agenda is whether trust in the brand is holding up against the competition. The answer sits in a HarrisQuest dashboard in one tab, the draft deck sits in another, and the AI assistant helping to write it can see neither.

For most teams, brand data lives in one tool and the work happens in another. Every time a number is copied across, the sample size, definition or fielding date tends to get lost. HarrisQuest MCP closes that gap by letting the subscription work right beside the company’s own data.

How does HarrisQuest MCP work?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside data and tools. HarrisQuest MCP uses it to link the HarrisQuest platform, powered by The Harris Poll, to the assistant a team already works in, so brand tracking data sits beside the company’s own documents and sources.

Ask ChatGPT how trust in your brand compares with your three closest competitors, and the answer comes back with its sample size and definition attached. Ask a follow-up, and the assistant saves the chart to your report in HarrisQuest. The question, the evidence and the saved work all live in one conversation.

Why do AI assistants need survey data for brand questions?

AI assistants are good at reading what the web says about a brand. They can't interview the people who buy it.

That is the work HarrisQuest does every day. Powered by The Harris Poll, the platform runs about 200 interviews per brand each week, across more than 4,000 brand-market combinations in 24 countries. The result is a daily read on how real consumers see a brand, which can look very different from how that brand is described online. Plugging that data into an assistant gives it something it can't produce on its own: primary evidence from the market.

What can HarrisQuest MCP do?

The whole subscription comes with you

Every metric a client licenses comes through, more than 50 of them, updated daily. That covers everything from equity and consideration to six dimensions of reputation, plus any custom questions a client has added. Nothing is held back for the dashboard.

Every number shows its work

Each answer ships with its rules: the sample size, the definition and the method behind it. So when a CMO asks where a figure came from, the answer is already on the page. As more analysis gets drafted with AI, that audit trail is what separates a number you can put in front of the board from one you have to caveat.

It works in both directions

The assistant can read any number a client licenses and write the work back to HarrisQuest as saved views, reports, competitive sets and audience segments. Teams can schedule recurring reports, refresh them on demand, or have a dashboard built the moment someone asks for one. The one thing it can't touch is the survey data itself, which stays exactly as fielded.

“We’re obsessed with helping our clients move faster without compromising accuracy. Connecting AI and HarrisQuest in both directions makes that possible: reports that refresh on a schedule, our data blended with their own sources, and work written straight back to the platform.” Justin Pincus, Managing Director and Head of Product, HarrisQuest

Is HarrisQuest MCP fast and secure?

The connector runs on HarrisQuest’s Data API v2. In a test with 25 people asking questions at once, its median response time was 1.7 seconds.

Seats are unlimited, so anyone at a client’s company can connect. Each person signs in with the HarrisQuest login they already have and sees only the brands, markets and modules their company licenses. Data the connector returns is handled under the client’s own agreement with its AI provider, and access can be switched off for any account at any time.

That combination of open seats and tight permissions is what lets brand insight travel further inside an organization without losing control of it.

“HarrisQuest MCP puts brand and reputation insights directly into the hands of more teams across our clients’ organizations. By bringing our latest data into the AI tools and workflows teams use every day, we’re helping them move beyond waiting for insights to putting them to work in real time, from shaping briefs to informing prompts and driving better business decisions.” Jonathan Gardner, CEO, HarrisQuest

How do I get HarrisQuest MCP?

HarrisQuest MCP is available now as an add-on to a HarrisQuest subscription. Switching it on takes two people, one at the client and one at HarrisQuest, and nobody needs a new account.

Next comes AI Visibility, which counts how often ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude recommend a brand. It will come through the same connector when it launches later this month. Between them, the two products answer the questions brand teams now have to ask side by side: what consumers think of us, and what AI is telling them about us.
